Others Respond to George Tiller’s Killing

Rock for Life:

“The news of abortionist George Tiller being shot to death at his church was both shocking and saddening to me. Dr. George Tiller was a human person who has an inherent right to life, just like everyone else….murdering another human being is wrong – before birth or after. We will continue to fight for human rights for all human persons.”

Pro-Life Action League:

“…the kind of peaceful prayer witness, compassionate sidewalk counseling and lawful protest that the Pro-Life Action League and Generations for Life has NOTHING to do with violence. The Sort of person who will go out to humbly pray at an abortion clinic week after week or reach out to abortion-bound mothers with hope and love has nothing in common with someone who would turn to violence…”

American Life League:

“Today’s actions were tragic and serve as another reminder that all human life is sacred. Pro-lifers by our nature and commitment to human rights reject violence as a means of resistance. Our thoughts and prayers indeed extend to the Tiller family and the community at Reformation Lutheran Church.”

Delaware Right to Life:

“We at Delaware Right to Life are shocked and saddened by the murder of George Tiller. We condemn this act, as we condemn all life taken by others. Killing in the name of “life” is a grave contradiction that is rejected by our organization and the pro-life movement as a whole.”

Operation Rescue:

“The pro-life ethic is to value all human life from the moment of conception until natural death. Operation Rescue has diligently and successfully worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see to it that abortionists around the nation are brought to justice. Without due process, there can be no justice.”
