There are thousands of pro-life websites out there so you should be selective of which ones you use. Like all websites, some are informative, and others are just crazy and inaccurate. Also, it’s important to be aware of a site’s bias. Check the “about” or “who we are” section of a website if you aren’t sure.
That being said, here are some of PV’s favorites:
Guttmacher Institute – Since the Guttmacher Institute was originally a division of Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest abortion provider, you might be wondering why this tops our favorite pro-life website list. The Guttmacher Institute is considered the authoritive source for reproductive research information. Therefore, PV uses this reputation to our advantage when we use their abortion data for our posters.
Rock for Life – This is a pretty cool website. It’s one of the few groups that incorporates music into the pro-life movement. Look here if you’re wondering which bands are pro-life, or if you want to go to a benefit concert that raises money for the pro-life cause. They also have an awesome street team that travels around the nation informing youth about abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.
The Second Look Project– This group examines abortion from legal perspective. Their mission is to inform the public about what the law really says about abortion. The information is easy understand, even if you know nothing about government. I also highly encourage everyone to check out the “Roe Reality Check”. It’s a must-read for any pro-life apologetic.
The Mona Lisa Project – The project is devoted to exposing Planned Parenthood’s abuse of young girls through their failure to report statutory rape. The site consists entirely of videos obtained through undercover work in clinics nationwide.
Abort73 – This is an awesome site that exposes the inconsistencies of the pro-abortion arguement. One of the site’s highlights is a video showing the true outcome of abortion (caution: it’s graphic). My favorite part of this site is their t-shirt section. ( I own the army green ‘Educate Yourself, Educate Your World’ shirt).
National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week– One of the easiest ways to spread the pro-life message on campus is through our clothing. Every year American Life League create some pretty unique tshirts. And they’re cheap too! This year’s pro-life tshirt week is from April 28th-May 4th.
American Life League– Great website that has information on just about everything you could ever want or need. They talk about methods, statistics, fetal development, the risks of abortion, how to sidewalk counsel, and much much more.
Students for Life of America– This site exists as a resource for pro-life groups on college campuses. Their site has helped us create and plan most of our events here at UD. SFLA is an enormous help to our club!
That’s all I can think of right now!
Have a great weekend : )
